Online Addiction Counseling and Recovery Support
Whether you are in recovery, thinking about it, or watching someone you love struggle, I am here. I offer online addiction counseling to adults in New York, Connecticut, and Utah, drawing on years of work in treatment settings. There is no judgment here, just a steady place to do the work.

For The Person In Recovery
Recovery is not a straight line, and it is not the same for everyone. You might recognize yourself here if:
You are newly sober and finding your footing.
You have been at this a while and want support to stay steady.
You are not sure you are ready to call it addiction yet, but you know something has to change.
Wherever you see yourself in that list, I am here to support you when you are ready.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to understand the patterns and triggers that pull you back, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy skills to ride out cravings and intense emotions without acting on them.
We also make room for what is underneath, because addiction so often grows out of trauma, anxiety, or pain that never got tended to.
For People Who Love Someone In Addiction
If someone you love is struggling with addiction, you are carrying a weight that is hard to put into words:
The worry that never fully switches off.
The anger you feel guilty about.
The hope and the heartbreak that can hit in the same hour.
The sense that your own life has quietly reorganized itself around theirs.
You deserve your own support, separate from whether they ever get help.
In our sessions we focus on you:
Setting boundaries without guilt.
Untangling the patterns that keep you feeling overly-responsible for someone else.
Finding solid ground again.
You cannot pour from an empty cup, and you do not have to.

How Online Addiction Counseling Works
All of my work is online over a secure, HIPAA-compliant video link, so you can meet from a place that feels private and safe. That privacy matters a lot with addiction. There is no parking lot, no waiting room, and no one to run into.
I work with individual adults. I am honest about fit. If what you need is detox, inpatient care, or intensive daily treatment, I will tell you, and I will help you find it. For many people, though, steady weekly online sessions are exactly the right level of support for recovery, relapse prevention, and rebuilding a life worth staying sober for.
Addiction and Trauma, Together
In treatment settings I watched how often addiction and trauma are two ends of the same thread. If both are part of your story, we can work on them together rather than picking one. My Trauma Therapy page covers that side in more depth.
